Hymn Book ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Hymn Book does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal information.

Our app:

• Does NOT require user registration or login
• Does NOT collect personal data (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Does NOT track your location
• Does NOT access your contacts, photos, or other personal files
• Does NOT use analytics or tracking tools
• Does NOT share any data with third parties

Data Storage

All hymn content is stored locally on your device. The app works completely offline and does not require an internet connection to function.

The only data stored on your device is:

• Hymn text files (part of the app installation)
• App preferences (theme settings, etc.) - stored locally only

In-App Purchases

Our app offers optional in-app donations through Google Play Billing. When you make a donation:

• Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play
• We do NOT collect or store your payment information
• Google Play's privacy policy applies to payment transactions
• We only receive confirmation that a donation was made (no personal details)

UPI Payments

The app provides a UPI ID for direct donations. When you use this option:

• You are redirected to your UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.)
• Payment is processed by your UPI provider
• We do NOT collect any payment or personal information
• Your UPI provider's privacy policy applies

Permissions

The app requests minimal permissions:

• BILLING - Required for in-app purchase donations (Google Play only)
• INTERNET - Only used for opening UPI payment links (optional)

No other permissions are requested or required.

Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play Billing - For in-app purchase donations (Android only)
• Apple In-App Purchase - For donations (iOS only, if applicable)

Children's Privacy

Our app does not collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete. All app data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.
